Tiger woods is wanting to duplicate his win of ten years ago at the this years US Open
Tiger Woods has submitted his entry form for the 2010 US Open to be put on at Pebble Beach this June. He submitted his application on the Monday following he finished fourth at the Masters. It was Tiger’s 1st major event since taking a rest from golf to work on his marriage. It was a great finish despite the fact that he wanted he had been the one putting on the green jacket as opposed to Phil.
If you’re curious, all eligible players (even Tiger woods) must send in their application form for the US Open before April 28th to be entered in to the competition.
Back in 2000, Tiger tied the PGA scoring record by finishing an amazing fifteen strokes below the nearest rival. He naturally would really like a repeat of his performance however anything in the best five is a true win for him after his 5 month rest from the world of playing golf.
Tiger woods has never been more inside the spot light. It was all he could do to muster a laugh after the fourth place finish at Augusta. The issue is the fact that golf is primarily played between your ears and in Tiger’s situation, we have no clue exactly what state of mind he could be in lately. Of course he’ll have good and bad days. Ultimately he’ll win one more tournament and the world might ignore his personal history while keeping focused on Tiger’s golf game.
