For the whole of the wasps season Waspgo.co.uk will be destroying wasps nests throughout Lancashire, Manchester, Trafford and Cheshire for a fixed fee of thirty-two pounds (44.50 in postcodes (L, CH & CW).
The Waspman operate seven days per week including evenings and weekends and do not charge any more for evening and weekend wasp nest work.
Wasps nests can normally be destroyed from the exterior of the building by injecting a small amount of insecticide into the entrance using a special machine.
It is important to get a wasps’ nest treated before mid-september when the new queens which will build next year’s nests start to emerge. Once this starts simply destoying the nest will not kill these wasp queens as they are no longer returning to the nest. A single nest can create as many as 2000 queens.
For the whole of the summer we give priority to wasp nest calls as we are aware that many people suffer badly from wasps stings and it is important to deal with the nest as quickly as possible. We do our utmost to provide a rapid same day service but this is clearly governed by how busy we are.
It is not usual to remove the wasp nest itself as it cannot be used again and, being made purely of wasp paper it will eventually crumble away of its own accord.
