    You are normally able to exchange foreign currency at most international airports, although you normally do not get the best rate. If your airport is NOT an international airport, I would guess that you are out of luck. I would suggest taking it to your bank. That is where I am always able to get the best rates. Take in mind that many institutions do not mess around with coins, and they have fees that are involved with the exchange.

    yes, but it depend on which airport you’re going to. I exchanged

    US Dollars into German Euros at LAX. They do charge you more money. Before you leave, go to a Bank ,like Bank of America and exchange there.

    If you’re not at international airport, that means you’re not travel abroad, why do you need to exchange to foreign currency? If you’re travel abroad then eventually you have to get to international airport then shouldn’t have any problem to exchange.

    If you use Visa, it’s 3 % transaction fee. If you use Amex, it’s 1%.
