Mario Lopez would spar all the time to burn body fat and keep his conditioning up. He even spars against would-be pro fighters. He claims to have sparred with Oscar De La Hoya, James Toney and Shane Mosley. The fit celeb wrote a book called Mario Lopez Knockout Fitness whose title shows his passion for boxing. In the workout book Mario admits that to be really fit we need to train hard. If it were easy, everybody would have a killer bod.

Mario constantly switches around how he trains. The reason for this is that he is in maintenance mode in regards to his muscle mass. Currently his main goal is to burn off fat and stay lean while just preserving his muscle mass. But if we want a Mario Lopez physique, we need a plan that focuses on the Hollywood physique: wide shoulders and a small waist. You must also realize that he has two advantages. Mario has a natural v-shape frame (small hips) so he can focus on building up the chest and shoulders. Another advantage are his relatively shorter upper arms - this is a good thing cause he is able to easily build sizzling biceps muscles.
What is the Diet that Mario Follows?
Lopez authored another book - a non-fiction healthy cooking guide called “Extra Lean.” This one is a cookbook. He says that a healthy eating plan is the cornerstone to an overall plan to get in extra lean shape like him. Attempting to lose body fat just through exercise alone, even if you workout as much as he does, is an uphill battle. In the cookbook Mario wrote 40 plus recipes and 1200 to 1300 calorie meal plans consisting mainly of veggies and lean meat cuts. This is a solid diet approach - the reason being that we dramatically over estimate how little we can eat if we are to lose body fat. Now, Mario Lopez likes his food.So in order to stay really lean we need to consume a very little food. Either that - or we can exercise a lot like Mario. But an easy diet plan is needed
Beach Life
No matter if he consciously knows it, the fact that Mario leads an active life under the sun light is good for him. We have to admit that being shirtless all the time sure must force the guy to train hard. Or vice versa - he trains hard and likes to walk around shirtless to show off the hard work. So Mario likes to sprint outside - a great metabolism booster and fat burner by the way. He also has fun training at the beach. It doesn’t hurt to have a cute babe by your side too. Also, the natural vitamin D that is produced by the sun is responsible for our overall health. Staying in the sun, safely, is a win.
The Fitness Lifestyle
Mario is kind of an exercise junkie. Hes been consistently in top shape ever since he starred in the TV show Saved by the Bell as a teenager. Being lean and mean like him has enabled him to stay youthful, looking like a kid really, well in his thirties. Many people age themselves prematurely by getting fat as early as in their 20?s!Mario mixes up things so he doesn’t get bored by the workouts. So he boxes and pushes weights but also bikes, swims, runs, plays basketball and does yoga. Stay active like this and you will burn a ton of energy.
