Paypal currency exchange is incorrect and makes you lose?

When you trade currencies from USD to any other amount you will see a big loss and even if you wait several weeks for the other currecncy to rise you would only break even when you convert it back to USD from what they show right?
Im talking about the trade feature within paypal itself not Forex at all….
